You’ve made it to day 30 of the Fitness Moms 30 day Challenge! Congrats! Today’s last workout in the challenge is to jump rope for 30 minutes. No matter how many times you mess up or trip on the rope, keep on going. Try one foot, two feet ~ heck, throw some tricks in there while you’re at it. Have fun with it!
That’s what it’s all about, really. Having fun with exercising, with your kids, with your family and friends… That’s what keeps us all going and that’s what going to keep you on a healthy journey. All we need to do is harness just a smidgen of energy that our kids already possess and just feed off of that. Remember back to when we were kids and the fun we used to have running around playing and having a good time.
When we all were kids, it wasn’t about ‘working out’ like we, as adults, see it. It was fun and it is fun! Don’t make this the end of the journey, make it the beginning of a new attitude toward fitness. See the childlike play that it always has been.
If we can all do that, it’ll be easier to stay fit and healthy.
