When I’m washing the dishes, sometimes I’ll find myself leaning forward to rest my body on the counter. If you find yourself leaning while performing tasks or just standing and chatting with a friend, one real simple thing you can do to strength your core muscles is to stop leaning. When you catch yourself doing this:
- stand up straight
- tuck your hips under (tighten your rear)
- chest up
- abdomen tight
Do this every time you catch yourself leaning and you’ll tighten up your core muscles.
