The challenge for Day 11 is to play on the Wii. That’s right, I said play! Play, in my humble opinion, is the best way to incorporate fitness into your day. Sure, there are games for the Wii where you can be pretty inactive, so… make sure you don’t pick those! Go in with the intention of having fun and getting in a good workout.
I’m going for these 2 games in particular:
- Michael Jackson ~ The Experience
I get completely lost in this game. It is really addictive because of the music and trying to get the moves just right (which I have not been able to master.) If I do ever master them, you’ll see me on tour. Sooo fun!
- WiiFit Plus
Go for the 4 mets games because the higher the mets, the more challenging the game. The more challenging the game, the more calories it burns and the more muscles it works. The met level can be found when you pull up the individual game, so keep an eye out for that. I’m not saying discount the lower met games completely, but since you’re trying to get a 20 minute workout in, you want to challenge your body in that time.
If you don’t have any of those games, you can always put in the original WiiSports disc that came with the system and play tennis, bowling, baseball or boxing. Or you could put in another game that you have.
Just make sure that you play for at least 20 minutes and that you put in enough effort that you’re getting your heart pumping.
