My journey to yoga and meditation has been an intimidating one. Seeing the people in the magazines or in classes that seem to be “there” – whatever that means. I’m still thinking – what am I supposed to feel? How is this supposed to affect me?
I’ve started and stopped many times with yoga and meditation because I guess I thought that I couldn’t “get it”. Sure, I’m flexible and I can do the moves but heck if I could quiet my mind. The trouble was that I lacked the patience – I gave up too easily. Now that I’m older, I do have the patience and the will of commitment – thanks to my family.
So, I go again down the yoga road for new reasons and old ones. I’m going to share my journey with you. I hope you come along.
